According to Wikipedia Stop motion is an animated filmmaking technique in which objects are physically manipulated in small increments between individually photographed frames so that they will appear to exhibit independent motion or change when the series of frames is played back.
This isn’t the most cinematic thing ever shot but you get the idea
As far as any stop motion project goes – some of the elements involved are: Planning, Communication and Collaboration.
When I mention stop motion or attempting stop motion in the classroom, I’m greeted straight away with: “I haven’t got the equipment”; “I don’t know what to create” OR “I wouldn’t know where to start”.
Well, in this blog post I’m going to remove some of those myths and point you in the right direction.
